A results oriented, experienced Retail & Fashion industry Professional turned Entrepreneur, has played a significant role in developing Domestic & Global brands and retail groups in India such as Woodland, Allen Cooper, Tommy Hilfiger, Big Bazaar, Pantaloons, Gas Jeans, Warner Bros, Mother Care UK to name a few.
He has comprehensive knowledge of retail, marketing and sales management with his experience of more than three decades across varied strata of society.
He has worked at Senior/ Top level assignments as a SBU head with proven track record in Profit Centre Management, Strategy Planning, Brand Management, Assortment & Category Management, E-Commerce, Retail Operations. Merchandising & Sourcing.
He is the founder of Premium Kids Shoe Brand – Beanz which is present in Premium Online and Offline Retail Formats in the Indian Subcontinent.
Saurabh Banka

His expertise spans women’s wear and accessories, with a focus on high-end natural fabrics, refined embroideries, and sustainable craftsmanship that promote Indian savoir-faire on a global stage. Through a thoughtful balance of tradition and modernity, he has positioned LAÏTE as a brand that embodies timeless elegance and responsible luxury.

He leads initiatives under CII’s Non-Leather Footwear division. His expertise spans sourcing, trade strategy and retail branding. Amit represents Indian footwear and accessories Industry at major global platforms like Expo Riva Schuh, APLF and the Australian Shoe Fair. He has led multiple trade delegations to Italy, Taiwan, Dubai and Hong Kong.
